I can see the potential but skinwalkeer not enough here, in either character or plot, to keep me wanting to read more. There are plenty of twists and hunfer and misleading leads, a shocking culprit, several battles, and large fight at the end that is a series changer. We learned a bit more huntee her past, and someone new and important walked I’m sort of feeling speechless after finishing this book last night. I did enjoy DQ in places and the duels at the end were intense. Somehow that is less evil than Rick flirting with woman for information in the line of duty.
Turns out, there’s quite a bit of history she’s forgotten If you like UF and think that those snippets I quoted didn’t sound bad at all, then definitely give it a chance. Of course FH leaves a possibility that that slime sludge crawler supreme might come back, Jane should really go burn his grave to ash to prevent that.

I know; it’s ridiculously far-fetched, but it’s the only thing this series can give me now, that I’d give a damn about. And I wasn’t really bowled over by the climax and resolution of the tale.
I thought Beast’s viewpoint added an intriguing element to this story. Book 6 in the Jane Yellowrock series. A note on the audio: To complete her job she will have to accept help from wherever she can get it, all while fighting off the Beast within who wants nothing more to take control of the hunt. It also allows some of Jane’s internal humor to show through when she is being professional enough to not say her remarks out loud.
Hunter grew up in the Louisiana bayou country and began writing during high school. I knew there was a reason I was unsure Tales from the world of Jane Yellowrock. Also leave Bruiser alone!
